A ring leaflet showing the Liz Ealre make up line and displays the colours available for each product on the back. Great idea!!
No 2 Beige in Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

I love when my Liz Earle package is sitting there on the kitchen table when I come home from work. Every few months I order my Liz Earle products online at ie.lizearle.com where they do a deal every month for €46.25 and this includes Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser and a complimentary gift and they usually through in some other little products, samples or leaflets. For the month of August the complimentary gift was the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint and when I saw this I was putting my order in straight away. Also shipping is great, I placed my order on Wednesday afternoon and it arrived Monday, to top it all off shipping was free :)

I really wanted to give the Sheer Skin Tint a whirl and now I can. The colour I ordered it in is 02 Beige just incase you were wondering. Hopefully it will be as good as I think and fingers crossed Liz Earle do more of their make-up range as the complimentary gifts :) xox

Benefit Porefessional Review

Side by Side
Without Benefit Porefessional
With Benefit Porefessional

Note: Please don't be scared of my face up close and personal ha :)

This is a product I wanted to try so bad because of big open pores on the sides of my nose :( sad story. Even smooth skin only happens in my dreams but when I saw that Benefit came out with the porefessional I really wanted to give it a shot but the price tag of €33 was a complete turn off considering the size of the tube. Then I saw Glamour magazine were doing a sample size of the porefessional so it was my chance to try it out.

The tube is a tiny 4ml tube but my god it has lasted me a long time so I could only imagine how long the normal size will last. I love this product, it glides on the skin beautifully and I can notice a difference in the appearance of my pores, I'm not saying my pores have disappeared but the are minimised and even less noticable when I apply my foundation. Its a great base for foundation, the application goes on so smoothly and allows you to blend effortlessly. Now I can't tell you if this product prolongs the wear of your foundation because I use Estee Lauder Double Wear and that baby doesn't budge so prolonging my foundation wasn't the reason for wanting this product more so for the appearance of my pores and it does the trick.

I would recommend this product I love it !! And after using the sample size and seen how long that lasts I definitely think the €33 price tag is an investment.

John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Spray

The John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Spray kept popping up here and there on utube and blogs so when I saw it in Boots retailing for a little over €10 I thought brilliant something to keep me going inbetween my trips to the hairdressers.

I couldn't wait to give it a try, I washed my hair as usual then sprayed the product onto my damp roots, blow dried and straightened my hair. After the first use I couldn't really tell the difference. Next time I washed my hair I did the same thing again and then RESULTS....not only in the colour but the texture of my hair aswell. ;(

After my second use i definitely noticed my roots had lightened in colour but sadly my hair was terribly damaged, it was dry and I noticed major breakage on the crown of my head where I put the product and was left with strands of hair sticking out everywhere. I immediately stopped using this and now it just sits in my drawer :(. From my experience I wouldn't recommend this product although it does what it claims to do and I know lightening hair is going to damage it but I didn't think it would be that bad, I have never had my hair break sooo much when I brushed it, a real disappointment as I am a fan of John Frieda's other products.... Well until next time Byeee xox

Xen Tan Absolute Luxe Dark Lotion

Well well well, I had great plans and ideas for this blog and puff it was like it was never started.

Anyway I shall get on with it... I finally caved and bought Xen Tan Absolute Luxe Dark Lotion. After hearing sooo much about the tan I though I had to try this baby out since I am a bit of a tanaholic. Rather fake it then bake it!!

So I shopped around and found a great website www.millies.ie. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw their price €29.50 and they were based in Ireland so shipping wasn't going to take long.... oh the excitement.

Lets get onto my thoughts.... I've been using Xen Tan Absolute Luxe for about a month now and I'd give it a 4/5. Its a greeny/ brown colour so you know straight away it has an olive undertone, making it more of a natural looking tan. The texture of it on the skin is amazing, it glides on and definitely feels like a luxury product, it does feel sticky for the first few minutes while waiting for the tan to dry in but I don't mind. Great thing is you can see where your applying it because it leaves a base to double check your work.. The smell is lush when your applying it... although a few hours on it does turn to that fake tan smell not as distinctive as other tans though.

After maybe 9 hours of the tan on my skin, its a nice natural colour which remains when washed off just a shade or 2 lighter. I wouldn't recommend this tan for a night out, I feel its more of an everyday tan to give you a bit of a glow, and if your someone who likes a super deep tan....this isn't for you. In saying that I really do like this tan the staying power is great and most important to me it doesn't go patchy. I moisturise my body at least once a day and the tan holds up great. I will repurchase this product and also would love to try the Xen Tan Dark Lotion - Weekly Self Tanner, would you recommend it???

To sum up.... if you like a nice natural glow GO GET IT!! I do wish it was a slight bit darker thought....And if your in Ireland I would recommend Millies great price and quick delivery.

Happy Tanning :) x

Blogging Time

I have now entered the world of blogging! I’m not exactly sure why I am starting a blog? Maybe to give me something to do in the dark evenings of winter! Share my thoughts and views on the products I love and well products I don’t love sooo much!! I’m not expecting anyone to read this or even to come across it really it’s just here so I can amuse myself in some way.

I have no real plan for my blog to be honest I don't even know how to use this thing ha but sure I’ll give it a go and see where I end up. What I can tell you is it will consist of random beauty tips and tricks, some make up tutorial pic’s, a few reviews, hauls and whatever else springs to my mind.

LETS GET STARTED!!!!
